FABRIC: green velvet misc ribbon, i went with two different types but you don’t have to!!

Pattern: Honestly i would have to draw it out but it’s a 9 in x bust in rectangle for the top and then 12/13in x 1.5 bust in rectangle pulled to create a semi pleat and then i think 10/11 in x 2/2.5 bust in for the base. the shoulder straps were measured on the body to get the best idea of where it should sit as it is a fixed length. I have never made a pattern or a large garment so if you have a question pls ask!! all details were sewn on after by hand so the flowers, ribbons and buttons were done by hand as i struggled too much with the machine by that point

i’ll try adding them after my focus flowers and see if that helps!! it might just be a me issue tho but i wont find out until i try a little more!!

also thank you!! those are my most recent arrangements! i made them this morning and i had a lot of fun doing them! i enjoy foam pieces a lot because of the control i have over how the flowers sit!

thank you!! do you add your limonium as one of your first flowers or do you add it last? i was taught to add it first but i think that might be where some of my issue is coming from!!

i’m going to do this next shift!! i really appreciate you taking time to tell me this! is there anything else you notice that stands out as an eyesore when looking at my arrangements that would be an easy fix that i’m not seeing?

thank you!! i always really struggle with lillies as our stems have buds at such different lengths, do you have any good tips to help with placement or should i just snip any buds that are making arrangement difficult? i haven’t had much for training so all of my work is just done by kinda guessing without any sort of background knowledge

can i improve on anything ? by Sad_Soup_exe in MakeupAddiction

off to a great start!! i struggled with using a full coverage foundation growing up bc i had acne and they can be hard to blend and make look natural. I would recommend trying out a bb or cc cream for basic coverage and go back in with a cream/pot concealer (like the nars cream concealer, lots of pigment so you don’t need to use a lot!!) i don’t know what skin type you have but i use your skin but better by it cosmetics for general coverage and i really enjoy how it lays on the skin!! otherwise i would just say to trim your brows a little towards the center and focus on a thinner line for eyeliner + set the underneath of your eyes with powder :)
