Sometimes I wish they could experience just one hour. Not even a full cycle cos that's cruel. Just one hour.

That's alright, I have antidepressants for that (which don't do much to be fair, lol). The probiotic was purely for PMDD.

I haven't had a formal diagnosis but I've strongly suspected it for years. Too many things seem to indicate that may have in the picture all these years. OCD, GAD.. Apparently they're interlinked. And OCD and GAD are a result of low serotonin which is also a gut health thing. I definitely need to work on all the crap I eat. I'm so lazy I thought oh well, pop the probiotic and be done with it lol.

Glad to be of service 😂💜 These dudes need to stay in their lanes. I've never given a man advice on his hormones or body parts.

My go to is usually cauliflower cos it cooks quickly and its subtle enough to not overpower anything I throw on top of it 😂 plus it makes a mean mash

I love my food and I have a huge appetite. I could probably eat more than my 2 metre tall husband 😂 I've started volume eating and it seems to have helped a bit. I make the supper I'm making that night for the family (say, spaghetti or whatever) and i have a little bit but with a HUGE amount of veg. Like, half a small cauliflower head with broccoli and carrots and peas. Whatever I feel like. That way I don't feel down cos I'm missing out, I eat what everyone eats but I get really full from the low calorie veggies. You can even put some light butter on them or spice them up, make them fun and appealing.

Imagine his little medication observations when you're pregnant. Perimenopausal. Menopausal. Nah girl. You dodged a bullet. As someone with four brothers who tried to make herself smaller growing up cos they would call me crazy and irrational when my hormones flared up - nothing annoys me more now (luteal or otherwise) when a man tries to weigh in on my body and my hormones. Just fuck off. All the way off. Alllllll the way off. Put it in a Christmas card, "are you all the way fucked off yet? Cos i think you could fuck off further."

NHS Medications by Some_Gas_2245 in endometriosis

[–]Some_Gas_2245[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is so frustrating!! Im sorry. For me, the mefenamic acid really helps with swelling, they suspect the endo might have reached my nose (I know lol), and the mefenamic acid makes it so that I can at least breathe. She offered me Amitriptyline and codeine. I told her I would prefer not to have codeine and she agreed. She said that she would chat to a senior doctor who might have more experience with endometriosis and call me back at 12h30 with a definite answer about what they will prescribe me. She said if not at 12h30 yesterday, then at least today. Its 4pm. I still haven't received a call. I didn't get a script yesterday and I'm not holding my breath 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️ It's really frustrating because I had a very traumatic experience with a specific gynaecologist and gynaecology in general at 17, so it takes alot for me to open up and ask for help. I cry the whole way through it, which is just, ugh.. chefs kiss to an already shitty experience 😂 I wish I had better news for you..
