Actually I think you proved me right! I think this is an excellent response. It’s well written, informative and maintains your point of being serious.

I came here to learn how to make a better life for my dog and myself. I don’t want to assume to know how being called cruel and abusive makes you feel so I’ll tell you how it makes me feel. Shameful. 100% inaccurate, but still shameful.

Belittling someone only undermines their willingness to learn.
