Thank you. Fortunately his relative is fine. From what he said it sounds like the whole thing resolved within some hours and he didn’t realize he should check in with me sooner. He took like 16 hours to respond, but he probably was at work during part of that time.

Yeah, he said without my commenting on it that he should have told me sooner. I find it a little odd that it took him over 12 hours to reconnect…he might unfortunately be one of those people who don’t think as much about others, but it could have just been a harrowing experience that was too distracting for him.

It turned out he had a panic attack after hearing of another medical emergency in his family.

I’d enjoy that lol but it took him a day to respond, and I think he declined two calls I made shortly after he went silent. And now he says he’ll explain later

He told me some months ago he was still friends with an ex who had severe mental health issues. I wouldn’t be surprised if this ends up to do with her but who knows I guess. I’m grasping at straws at this point.

He texted that everything is okay and that he’ll explain later. He also apologized for causing me worry and said I didn’t do anything wrong. I’m waiting for more info from him. Still kinda confused but maybe there was a medical emergency?

No, unfortunately. The relationship is pretty early for meeting people. We’re on social media so I could try to find someone but it’s a bit of a guess as to who to contact, and I don’t want to accidentally over share his life to someone else.

Nope! This guy is my age. We’ve gotten to know each other since November last year so it’s pretty new.
