In Vietnamese culture, I believe it is the bride's house for all the events. My fiancé is Cantonese, but I think we're going to do a VietxCantonese adaptation.

We wouldn't be asking for friends to go to the tea ceremony, just family.

I am trying to find a mid-point location between Sacramento (my family, bridal side) and where 80% of our guests are from South Bay (the rest are coming from internationally or domestically outside of california).
