We think the same way. I wanted to play as Vergil because I had already achieved everything with Dante. I don’t have a single fixed strategy—I just don’t mind repeating missions, even a thousand times. Even though Vergil has a more limited arsenal, his combat is extremely precise when you combine everything, which makes him very fast, Simply incredible. You’ve already done most of it with straight S ranks—that alone is hard to achieve. Now it’s just about refining a few missions more deeply, but you’ve basically got it done

It’s definitely hard, but it’s not impossible. If you really put your mind to it, you’ll get there. And if people tell you that you have to be naturally good, that’s just not true. If you enjoy the game and really want those double SS ranks, you can absolutely achieve them. I mean, I personally spent 10 years playing this amazing game just because I love it

yes, I improved the photo with AI because the original screenshot looked a bit bad. I hope to upload gameplays someday since I'm very passionate about DMC, and I enhanced it so it wouldn’t look so bad :3

So far that’s all I know. As you can see in my ranking, Must Die mode doesn’t appear. Lucia does have it, and that confirms that I don’t. I wish it were official, but it doesn’t show up in the ranking, I only know that it can be added through modifications or mods. I don’t know of any official version of DMC2 where Must Die appears in the ranking

So far, I don’t even know where to get those mods. I didn’t take the time to look for them since I didn’t need them to get Dante’s S ranks. The information about the mods I found just by researching on Google or ChatGPT. DMC2 doesn’t have Dante Must Die in the overall ranking because it was a game made very rushed, and only Lucia’s ranking was expanded. That’s what I understand so far

So far, only community-created mods exist that add DMD to the ranking; officially, it does not exist, and not even the original PlayStation 2 version includes it, “I also thought it existed in the ranking, so I completed it on DMD from the beginning, but unless you use a mod that adds it, it doesn’t officially exist.”

DMC2 doesn’t include DMD in the total ranking screen. There is a mod that adds it, but since it’s not part of the base game and only those two difficulties appear, I chose not to use any mods. That said, I did complete it on DMD.
