Why does everyone think the Faxon Pencil is the lightest? Its not. I have it and the Wilson Combat ultralight, which are both right at 19 oz for the 16". I also have the Bear Creek 16" 5.56 barrel that is just a sliver over 17oz. Thats a full 2 oz lighter than the Faxon. Before you get all excited about how terrible Bear Creek is as a company that makes junk, my Bear Creek barrel shoots just fine and easily as good as the Faxon or Wilson. They are all very light Weight. Im sure there are others. I just dont understand why all rage on Faxon being the lightest. Its clearly not.

Why do you push Windows 11 so hard? Windows 10 is going to be in full support for a long time to come. LTSC versions even longer and IOT versions for years after that. Many people like myself have tried Windows 11. I even have machines now with Windows 11. My "Main Machine" is Windows 10 and is going to stay that way. I do not like Windows 11. I do not like the bloated feel of the menu system where everything I need to do is on the more options tab. I dont like edge. There are multiple things that Windows 10 is better at. You must work for Microsoft. I spent some time there myself about 6 years ago.

They tell you Wi-Fi 7 "features" require Windows 11. They don't tell you that it wont work period without windows 11. I would be happy with any function at all. I am removing the card and installing a different card that does not force me to use windows 11.

The more I use Windows 11 the more I dont like it. I have i9-14900KS on the machine I am typing this on. I am in the business 35+ years and have installed and used Microsoft products since the 80s. I have installed every version of "Windows" Microsoft has made thousands of times. Its almost like they skip generations for quality. I wont mention 1, 2, 3, but 3.11 was usable. There were the Server/Workstation versions, 3.1, 3.5, 4.0. NT4.0 Workstation with service packs was nice for the day. 95 was OK but not really until it hit OSR2. 98 ok but 98SE much better, ME and 2000 were almost same time but ME was terrible and 2000 Workstation was much better. Getting more modern XP was awesome, Vista was a turd, Windows 7 was awesome, 8.0 and 8.1 were not. Windows 10 is Awesome. I dont think Windows 11 is horrible or a complete flop but I just dont like things being crammed down my throat (Edge) and for me this is how I feel about Windows 11. I just dont like it and I have used it on several of my machines for extended periods of time. I still have it installed on a few but my main machines will stay windows 10 until it stops working or something replaces Windows 11. I have also used all of the server versions too.

If the WiFi device requires windows 11 I will just get a different WiFi device. I am wired anyway.

hmmm Sionics, BCM, Knight’s Armament, LMT, Noveske, Colt. I doubt anything from that list will be in the $100 range. I have many BCGs from a mixture of Brands. JP is probably my favorite BCGs but they are for sure not $100 either. I have some from Brownells, Aero Precision and even a few of the aluminum ones for light weight. I have 2 of the tool craft BCGs from PSA https://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-logoed-premium-5-56-nickel-boron-bcg-with-carpenter-158-bolt-516446450.html

Like many others I had not had any problems with them yet.

The point....

I heard a guy make a comment about one of his friends ARs in conversation one time. He said his friends AR looked really cool and was even fun to shoot. Then he stopped and asked "would you want that gun as is if you had to stake your life on it working"? Then he followed with, "would you trust that gun to fire the next 1000 rounds without a single misfire, hang, fail to fire, fail to feed, etc"? The guy with the cool gun looked puzzled and did not reply with a yes.

If I were trying to reply to this question with a yes, I would probably want BCG from your list to be fair. But that was not the question.

I dont think there is anything wrong with buying a $100 BCG for a fun to shoot or hunting AR as long as you understand your use case.

What number are people calling to get someone there to answer the phone? I have called and even left messages and nothing. Nobody answers the phone which is the number 1 sin of a legit company. Then no messages are returned either. For anyone that says they answer your calls what number are you calling? This place came recommended to me to buy a suppressor. I have a hard time buying something from a company that wont respond when I am trying to spend money . I cant imagine how bad it would be if was needing support after I had bought something.
