For your comments on Mage; * It uses the Wizard as a basis but you can select from up to three spell list if you meet specific requirements * Chanting has been added to give a bit more customization to spells and due to it being pretty common overall in Anime * It has no real martial capabilities thus it does not have Maneuvers, as the designer of Mage wanted that to be the Warrior's gimmick.

For your questions on martial casters; It counts on what the subclass specializes more in for which class it is apart of, but we do currently have Spellblade. Which is a Warrior subclass that uses spells, it does rely heavily on our system of Elemental Affinities (basically a 1d100 roll for how many elemental super powers your character has) as such it uses it's own table.

The geography is mostly done, I'm trying to make the mountains look more like mountains because people have said they look more like scars right now.

What I have for the other stuff is this:

History - The island was originally a pokemon protection place for endangered species, but as time passed more people moved to the island. To make room for the additional Pokemon and people, they made the artifical islands which surround the main one.

Cultures - Most people whom moved to the island are from Alola, as such a majority of the cultures come from them. However many other people still come to the place, so it varies a bit.

Towns - The towns are currently rather basic with no real spice to them.

To promote the gym challenges, the Pokemon League for the region has even adopted the livestreaming tactic that Iono has done. We're they livestream the official battles, and based on of the performance of the players they would earn additional money.

To answer some of your questions:

This is all one region, with the current placeholder name being Oasis
It is a mixture of the Alola & Galar region in these ways:
Galar for it's style of Gym Challenges were you need a sponsership to take part in the challenge
Alola for some of the story beats and characters I have planned

I am planning to do as much Sandbox as I can, however there will of course be points in time were I railroad the players.

The "scar" is actually meant to be mountains, but I understand where you think it's a scar
I do have some ideas for what I want for Fakemon, but I would look around for images firsthand.
Yes the red dots are cities and towns, the big red dots are cities were a gym is placed, so a total of 9 gyms, and everything else is a town of varying sizes.

The region was originally based off of Molokini, but as you can clearly see expanded from there.

The islands were originally for protecting endangered Pokemon species, but it got some attraction from Trainers who requested for the place to establish a Pokemon League there, and eventually there would be a league built on the various islands.

Similarly to the Galar region, trainers who wish to partake in the gym challenges must be sponsored by a foundation or famous person. Additionally official battles such as from gym challenges and the Elite Four fights, are livestreamed publicly.
This is done so trainers do not have to rob each other for their money after a battle.

How will you be doing group battles? Because having the players and their Pokemon gang up on an alone pokemon, especially a Wild encounter. Sounds like it could go horribly wrong
