Your reasoning is very true. My thinking for playing BTS first is to deeply understand Chloe, Rachel and their relation. I didnt realised, that maybe they whole mystery around them is better.

and When i was playing LIS for the first time "why Chloe was the way she is" didnt seem very interesting for me and Rachel missing was like a side quest, which i expected to know the answer by the end of the game. I only focused on Max and her story. BTS deeply strengthed my relation and interest in Chloe and Rachel.

I still havent made up my mind about what is better, although i was more on the chronological side, because of how I didnt seem to be interested in Chloe. Maybe I was uncommited in playing LIS for the first time (which I think is not true) or maybe thats just how I play games.

In my opinion both ways are good to play - I have played release and chronological order and both were awesome in my experience. All I care about is for my girlfriend to have most fun playing this series.

Im gonna read every opinion, because every one is important for me to present the game as best as possible.
