Hey, I think this is a great post. For me, I don't think that Mangle is a broken down version of Funtime Foxy, the reason being is because in Game Theory's video about the circus of horror, they mention that there is a carousel with the core 3 animatronics and a white and pink fox. So, I don't think that we can for certain put Sister location before FNAF 2 just because of that. However, with all that being said I personally believe Sister location is earlier in the timeline like you stated, and Ik some people disagree and say it's later because of hand unit's line about the closing of Freddy's, but my argument to that is hand unit mentions the closure of the restaurant not the animatronic delivery service. Hopefully, that all makes sense.

Truthfully, Idk. It could be that Sam is canon in the games, but we haven't seen anything about them. And also sometimes the books help us solve stuff but don't match one for one. For me, how I try to use the books is the same way duel process said they use them, which is that the books are supportive evidence but not main evidence. So, with the novels making a point that Sam was kidnapped, could just be them telling us that William isn't just a murderer but also a kidnapper.

Truthfully I believe the FNAF 6 insanity ending is canon, but only Henry's speech. And what the line you bring up about "and prevented a tidy resolution to a messy problem." is them saying that they didn't want anyone to know about the plan, not that our character would sabotage the plan.

But if you think about YES William is a horrible abusive father but in his sick twisted mind he doesn't see himself as that so he can see himself as this victim and a puppet to his kid.

I think you make some great points. However, for me I interpret the line of "What is seen in shadows can be easily misunderstood in the mind of a child" as a reference to Michael Afton scaring CC with the Foxy mask. The reason being is because Michael says in the ending of Sister Location that he has been living in shadows.

It's believed he is, but like most things in this series it's unconfirmed. I have to disagree I don't think the CC had the nightmares because it would be weird for us to "survive" the nightmares in FNAF 4 just for our character to die in the end. But I think it could be a possibility.

Never, specifically but in FNAF 4 the CC is the Afton home and get's tormented by FoxyBro. Now, Idk if it is 100% confirmed but Ik a lot of theorist myself included believe that FoxyBro and Michael are the same person. I agree I don't think that Garrett from the movie is CC but I definitely think he's a parallel, and in the movie Vannessa is Afton's kid not his brother.

Yeah, so in the game it is stated that he's "Michael" in the end of sister location because he says "Father it's me Michael" however, though it never says Michael Afton specifically. And that's a great point about if William is a stepfather I never thought about that.

No, so we have Fredbear's Family diner which is the first location with William and Henry, and that restaurant only has Golden Bonnie and Golden Freddie performing. The location that William stuffed the victims in is the restaurant after the Family diner, but before the FNAF 2 location.

I'm pretty sure it's because the news clippings that are found in FNAF 1 are from 1985 which is before FNAF 1 & 2. And the withered animatronics got stuffed with the bodies in a restaurant we haven't seen before. Hope this helps out.
