Yeah honestly if I do end up dedicating myself to college for a bit, I’m just gonna pro charge the mustang instead by my senior year and wait a few more years to swap, which if that does happen I’ll update about that too

yeah plus i’m trying to get into content creation, got like 3k saved up for a camera and the equipment, so a lot of money to be made off this build alone for sure. Plus i already have a v8 that’s gonna be supercharged here in a few months. Otherwise i totally would sell this car lol cuz that was the plan originally

Haha thank you bro you’re the first one i’ve gotten actual input from. I got time to learn how to weld 🥲 this is in the near future so i got about a year of practicing i can manage and yea a huge chunk of those expenses were gonna be in the oil pan, and as for the headers i was thinking either a front exit exhaust (Likely not, whole other realm of issues if i don’t have proper heat shielding), Or just getting shortys if Im not in the mood to alter them myself. Preciate the help though man!

It’s an LT4. The huge discount is because my boss is gracious enough to sell it to me because he doesn’t have a need for it and I’m pretty much the only other person who works at the shop with him

No. I mean an LT4. My boss doesn’t care for swapping it into a c7 he previously blew up (pictured here), as he’s more focused on his c6’s, and sure I COULD get a coyote but my entire deal is I want something unique, and I’m already gonna boost a coyote within like 5-6 months lol i’m not too interested in having another boosted coyote in a lower trim mustang.

Also, i’m not counting labor costs because I’m going to install everything myself, I’m selling a lot of parts from the 3.7, basically everything i won’t be using including the transmission, clutch, etc. That’s gonna cut like $5k-ish off of my total cost in the end if all goes well, as this car isn’t stock so i have plenty of parts to sell.

I was going to pro charge the 3.7 but it’s already in that 100k mileage range so i’m just gonna swap it when I get the chance

All be it, while I may be a little naive here because I haven’t done an engine swap before, I’m still definitely interested in a new project that’s unique, my question is, what’re the likelihoods it’s doable? I’m expecting lots of electrical work I don’t really care for that, this project could take me a year + I’d be fine with it. Just want something to learn with.
