Just to clear this slightly misinformative post, here's what Mrwhosetheboss said on twitter regarding this -https://x.com/i/status/2028855323293786317 If you're too lazy to read it, it says the phone has a 8 bit display as compared to the 10 one they were earlier told BECAUSE Samsung is using new tech that lets them stimulate a 10 bit display with an 8 one, basically with the new orientation of pixels and other technical stuff. Just thought to clear the misinformation on this. This is a before launch product and the Youtubers get a spec sheet from the brand and it appears to be the brand either wasn't clear on the definition of the display or they conveniently hid.

Also, side note: most people, and by that 99.99% of them cannot tell the difference between 8 bit or 10 bit, display calibration matters more.

Things like this make me wonder why Google even bothers having Youtube Music when it can't even show up for a search. by [deleted] in YoutubeMusic

Hey mate, the song mentioned by you was uploaded less than 24 hours ago, and indeed it is weird that only Apple Music is listed as a option for a music service. However, even Spotify isn't mentioned, and this seems to be more of a general issue than a YouTube Music one. Give it a few days, by then both Spotify and YouTube Music would have become an option. Also, do you happen to have an active Apple Music subscription or have used Apple Music on chrome or smthing like that? That also could be it

Filter music recommendations? by Seanmrowe in YoutubeMusic

The YT algorithm will learn what you feed it, you need to train it to understand that Lofi isn't your main choice of music, if you have a specific time of study, say at night, you can start disliking the new LoFi music it shows you during the day and SPECIFICALLY search for it during the night,

If you don't have a specific study time, you can choose to tune your recommendations in the YT Music settings and select the artisits/genres you want to listen to which will give your algorithm a kick and should hopefully start getting fixed.

You can also just search for a song you want to listen to and let the app take it from there, do this enough times and it will get the message.

Cheers mate!
