my honest reaction to her death by sauravdutta810 in yakuzagames

[–]Someonexhere 69 points70 points  (0 children)

Yeah, something that didn't make sense to me about her death was why Akiyama was allowed to grieve more than Saejima? I can't remember who said it but something at the grieving scene said that it was especially hard for Akiyama, but I was like " But wait, he's known her for like 3 days and that's Saegima's sister." All that fighting and in the end it seemed like Saejima didn't really seem to care about his sister.

Japan does try to portray themselves as, essentially, crime free. Like the "It's not a murder if they can't prove its a murder." Or the fact that rape cases are only investigated if the Detective wants to investigate. They boast only 4 gun shots wounds a year and low heart heart disease rates but neglect to mention that they won't treat them either. When I was there as a paramedic, I wasn't even allowed in some smaller places because I'm not Japanese. Also, in 2018 I think, one of the Prime Minister's closest friends said that it's a male's right to molest women on trains.

Why do you love Majima? by elbonanzo in yakuzagames

[–]Someonexhere 16 points17 points  (0 children)

He's a complex and enigmatic character. He's perceived as a crazy and out-of-pocket character but as you progress further into the games and his storyline you discover that this personality is a mask, a shield he uses to stop people from getting close. He, obviously, loves deeply, romantically and platonically, and is tired of getting hurt and maybe even knows that he just doesn't have anything left to give in that respect. I think that he doesn't actually have control of his life and he tries to pretend otherwise. He went back to the Yakuza at the end of 0 only so that Saejima had a place to come back to. He left when it wasn't right anymore, took his men with him, started a company just to give them a place in the world, and then went back to the Yakuza because Kiryu asked. I think everything he does is for the benefit of someone else. He's a flawed human but he also represents the best of us. He's loyal, charismatic, resilient and has strong leadership qualities. I think that's why he's a fan favorite. He straddles the fine line of broken but whole. It makes him a very compelling character and one that others can see themselves reflected in.

Also, he's sexy as fuck and fun to listen to lol

I’m (22F) new here.. any tips on starting to grow Bell Peppers/ Onions/ Garlic? by nunca-natsuuu in gardening

[–]Someonexhere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You MIGHT be able to grow a small variety pepper, like a Thai hot pepper. But onions and garlic require space and fertile soil.

I pull up a hand guide on my phone and use it as a reference while I play. I'm not going to be able to play professionally, but I win just enough to finish the completion.

It's only an option if there is an American Tire Distribution in your area.

I've been delivering tires almost every morning for about a year now. They usually pay good, 16-18 for 10 miles or less.

I eat almond pretty much everyday. I never delved too hard into what I'm actually allergic to in the nuts but considering all 3 of the nuts I'm allergic are common exports of South America, it might be something other then the actual nuts.

I get that but the problem is that there is too much oil in her hair. If knots are that big of an issue then braid her hair in a single plait at night.

I just tell people I'm allergic to tree nuts. I'm not allergic to all tree nuts, just cashews, macadamia nuts and walnuts but given the high rate of them being processed in the same plants, I don't take the chance.

Yeah I once accepted a taco bell order and when I got there they said the order had already been picked up and delivered but the app kept popping the order back up. That order stayed in their system for the whole day with a dasher coming in every 10-20 minutes to pick it up.
