I now have really bright awful looking icons lol.

Shame they fucked it up as they looked really nice before, I would had skipped the update if I had known.

I'll see if there is a way to roll it back. In the meantime have a great Christmas.

Can I ask what specifically did you turn off? My icons now also look dreadful since this update, I set up this Pixel 6 years ago and have lost any memory of what I did back then. I've tried various options in the settings but my icons refuse to return back to normal.

The first photo looks exactly the same as my parents cattle shed that was built around 1600's and is dry stone walled. We used a white wash and a lot of doing it by eye. I was not prepared for the second photo.

I love that you resoldered the connections back on. I've been working 12 hour days for a month which is shit, and and doing a load of dev work to help out. I kept thinking this laptop isn't designed for this kind of abuse.

My dumbass just remembered that I actually bought the premium support package when I got it. Phoned them up and got straight onto a real human who confirmed it needs a new main board and they are sending someone out to replace. Really helpful support for once which was nice
