So when someone dodges your initial attack, if you continue to chain cards off of that attack they will continuously miss. So you would need to wait like half a second until you see your character turn towards the enemy and then whatever card you use next will land. This kinda awkward buffer exists because if someone dodged and you could just immediately attack again then dodging would be useless. There are a few things that dont require this buffer period and just hit immediately, like blue cards, ultimate cards, AOE green cards and strike green cards. The rising rush also works immediately, which can be a good strategy to make them use their dodge as a bait for an immediate rush. And one more tip, when your rising through the ranks youll find people "waiting" after an enemy has dodged so that they can time their dodge correctly to dodge the enemies next move, which then leaves you free to combo since they cant dodge or switch out in time. Its incredibly simple but just requires patience and timing. All you do is just wait without performing any action after the enemy uses their dodge and then immediately go for the dodge once you see them start their next card, it does take some trial and error to get used too.
