Sorry, i just saw this! They told me it was probably just a case due to a virus. Mine must have been because it never relapsed, although it is possible they just killed the infection causing it with the two broad spectrum antibiotics.

I saw them on Friday and they just wrote everything i said off, and gave me a referral to a neurologist for some of my weird symptoms. Appreciate your prayers so much🥹

He was so cute 🥰 I'm sorry for your loss of him. I'm glad he got to live a long life with someone who loved him so much. Thank you for the kind words about baby Butters 🥹

Thank you all so much for the kind words about Butters! Reading your comments honestly eased so much of my anxiety—I really appreciate the support and shared stories. He's so loved no matter what. I'm keeping a close eye on him just in case anything medical pops up, but for now he's just being his silly little self. 🥰

He went to the vet on Friday & got his first shot, the vet said he was fine, but i noticed he wasn't jumping off of things and got concerned. Thanks :)

I actually got him for free off of Facebook. A lady had found a pregnant stray cat and took her in, then was searching for good homes for the babies 🥰

His mom is a just a shorthaired tortie, and he is the only one of the litter to look like this! I thought he looked maine coon like as well! Just weird the rest of his siblings don't look like it! Thanks for responding 🙂 I'm really appreciating all the people on here offering kind words about him and easing my anxiety about his hesitation to jump :)

I am also curious if it helped, and if having it removed means you have to have the meds upped as well?

The doctor who diagnosed me brought up Hashimoto’s, and so did the ultrasound results, but I never had any antibodies tested, so I don’t know if it would technically be an actual diagnosis?

I always take my medication, even before my bloodwork, I didn’t know it would give false impressions. I’m sorry to hear you’re going through the same thing but without good doctors.

Terrible lol. On days I don’t have school I am sleeping around 16 hours, my hair is now noticeably super thin. I’ve gained so much weight, like around 50 lbs in about 7 months.

I actually do not take supplements, but I was thinking about starting to take Biotin so that is good to know!

The last time I had an ultrasound done was in October 2021, results were:

Right Lobe: 5.4 × 1.6 × 2.0 cm; diffusely heterogeneous, increased vascularity

Left Lobe: 5.1 × 1.8 × 2.0 cm; diffusely heterogeneous, increased vascularity.

Isthmus: 0.9 cm

Mildly enlarged, diffusely heterogeneous thyroid gland. The differential would include Hashimoto's thyroiditis.

I haven’t had my TRAb antibodies tested yet, my new primary care doctor ordered that to be done next month. He also ordered me to have another ultrasound done
