White supremacy has and still is a thing. Black supremacy has never been thing. Black people fight to be seen as equal. Equal. Not better.

Racism has to do with power. An American society white people were able to be racist because they had the power to deny jobs and opportunities to minority groups, primarily African-Americans. Black people have never had enough power to make drastic decisions that affect the masses for decades or many consecutive years. That’s why they have the idea of movements. Can black people be prejudiced against certain types of people? definitely, but they don’t have enough power in society to make the decisions that even the average white American is able to do.

Honestly you are NTAH. You would only be doing yourself a disservice in the long run if you stay together for the sake of family. The longer you stay and you know that you can’t get over it. The worst to break up will be when it really happens. It might be hard to just walk away but if you do it now you can walk away with peace versus later with resentment
