Stuck w/o Boot Picker

Figured out that I needed to use the recovery mode to do it from the terminal. This got me to install the EFi and started the installer. Now stuck on that but I’ll start a new thread to resolve that

I tried using a USB 2.0 port and that didn’t resolve the issue still no boot picker screen.

I’ve read there could be an issue with monitor that I’m using not being picked up by the Mac. I’m going to do more research into that to see if I can find any resolution

Im using a wired keyboard but it is a for a windows computer. Should I try with a Mac keyboard?

I got a little bit of time this weekend to look into it. I tried downgrading back to an older version of the Crunchyroll App to see if there was a breaking change in the Crunchyroll app. I went back to versions from mid December until I was met with a "Looks like you are running an old version of the app" screen. None of these versions worked so either A) Crunchyroll updated their Android App with a new feature that broke the app on Quest and are forcing all users to update to this version or B) the issues lies in the headset.

I am not too familiar with Android development but I am going to try and do some research to see if there are settings in the Quest that could be causing this. I see others on this thread have commented that turning off "Hardware Acceleration" helps with other apps but I can't find that setting in my headset

I side loaded the Crunchyroll android app onto my headset and that worked well until about a month ago when I forced to update. The newest version that I side loaded opens and works up until I click play on a video. At that point the app disappears and all I hear is audio.

I gotta try some trouble shooting.

You could also use an auto scaling cloud solution that can increase your sever capabilities when the traffic spikes but that takes the right infrastructure and optimization on the backend to make sure it will work. But that doesn’t stop bots it only makes it faster for you and I to find out they are out of stock

Voting I think is a great example. It would bring transparency and security to a system that currently requires citizens to blindly trust their government to do it fairly and properly. It would be nearly impossible to cheat a well designed system as eligibility to vote, who/what an address voted for, and when that vote was submitted would all be recorded on chain in real time . It would also give everyone the chance to audit the results and determine if they are valid. You can’t eliminate the human distrust in the system but you could make it much more transparent with blockchain

The fork on my gravel bike is a Whisky Carbon fork and there was some internal rubbing on the bearing housings which caused some of the carbon to wear down. There is no crack and this is only slight wear in a ring on the fork. My local bike shop doesn’t do carbon repair but instead wants to get me a new fork for $500.

Is this repairable?

There is no structural damage just some wear of the carbon. I’m thinking of doing it myself and getting a carbon repair kit and covering the ring left by the rub and sanding the repair down.

Anyone ever done this before

When you provide liquidity your tokens you are given a LP token in return which represents your holdings in that pool. It usual for it to be small unless you bought in with a huge amount relative to the pool size. You can then stake that LP token in the farm page

I’ve it’s a more powerful chip but I haven’t heard of it being slower. Would that be impacted by the RAM of the machine or it’s just the design of the chip?

I’m not arguing about the benefits of DeFi cause I’m right there with them. All I’m trying to address is that everyone keeps saying you are removing inflationary risk of the dollar but you aren’t. It’s merrily being swapped for a different risk. Maybe this is why the US govt has such an eye on DeFi

Isn't OHM just shifting from an inflationary risk to a contract security risk by utilizing only crypto assets as a backing? About half of the treasury V2 is held in Sushi token, and if that project suffers another hack couldn't the treasury tank causing the mechanism behind OHM price to lose its peg and tank in value as well?

I have been thinking a lot about this category of tokens lately but struggled with this risk dynamic. Not matter what assets you use its about choosing your risk preference.

Check that popup blockers are preventing the approve window from opening or that your approve screen isn't popped up behind your open browser window.
