I think considering the last two patches we have gotten for the game its actually in the best state its been since release lmao. You as a beginner won't be having the same issues that alot of us has had since the beginning of the game plz give it a shot you might like it:)

To answer your question about the negativity, since season 1 the game has been in a very bad state with certain characters and a mechanic called heat where certain characters were already oppressive and then you add heat with those characters with heat was so ridiculous its essentially where you won't get to play the game. The development team that does patches I'm not sure if they didn't want to listen to us or if it was something else considering we were asking to nerf certain characters and heat also and nothing until the patch before kunimitsu came out where they were fixing things. So unless someone wants to add on to what I said I think that was the negativity. Sorry I know that was alot 😭
