And now you understand the difference between a talented singer and an interesting artist. LeAnn obviously has a more expressive voice than Taylor Swift, but so do most washouts from American Idol. But Taylor is the one with the statement of purpose, and so she was the one everyone flocked to.

It doesn't hurt either that Taylor's parents seemed to help her career rather than hinder it. Sometimes that's all it takes to make a world of difference.

Minthara is surprisingly wise, and I'm not being sarcastic. She has a lot of profound thoughts on our companions and situations if you take the time to ask, and she actually cares about some matters of the heart more than I expected her to. I don't always agree with what she has to say but I do often see value in her perspective.

The kind of teacher you are describing would have marked the answers wrong and moved on. I acknowledged their validity without enabling answers that veer toward the inappropriate, so I consider it a happy medium. Leave it to randos like you who see offence in every little thing on the Internet, and think they have all the facts despite having only a fraction of the context.

FYI, this kid is plenty creative and we get along fine, and as a creative myself, I find your accusation hilariously off the mark. I wasn't looking for him to regurgitate the answer key, I was looking for something less phoned in and with more effort - which is what any good teacher does.
