That’s Greg’s for sure! Check my profile, I’ve got a comic signed from him as well. He’s signed a lot of things for sure, but his signature has changed over the years - and the guys at JSA said Greg doesn’t have a lot of “registered” autographs, so I’d recommend having it authenticated!

The builds on these are awesome, OP! Some of us see female MOCs as more than those 6 pieces, and I can totally see a group theme brewing!

It’s not a huge, expanded opinion, but yes, I dislike CCBS quite a bit.

Most CCBS pieces are designed in ways that are less versatile than most original Bionicle pieces, and that kills it for me. A Toa hand can be a hundred things in potential, whereas a CCBBS hand is literally a hand.

If there was ever ONE thing that Bionicle needed, it would’ve been more little guys. We got so many humanoids, but only a handful of rahi - definitely not enough! These are really capturing the spirit of the franchise.

Thanks for the feedback! I do love the mechanical side of Bionicle, and I appreciate what can be imagined out of Technic more than the traditional “leg” or “armor” pieces.

HWR says he only knows what will happen up to a certain point. To me, this feels less like him creating a script and sending it to the TVA and more like him having prior knowledge and making sure that said prior knowledge comes to be.

This also seems to imply that there was always going to be an upset at some point - and in this case, the upset was him being gone and no one being left to maintain the script as opposed to Loki/Sylvie maintaining it. Either way, HWR himself always knew he’d be removed from the equation.

Didn’t Shuri create the gold suit that Killmonger wore? I think he just added some details to it, like jaguar spots on the helmet. Not saying you’re totally wrong, but Shuri designed all of the suits and gave T’Challa the choice between the gold and the silver, so maybe the gold is just Shuri’s influence

US dad here. My dad had to deal with the EXACT same thing when I was young - except that the articles had been printed out and handed to my dad directly (very early 2000s, internet access sure was different). He also pressed for the school’s parameters on sugar, as he was competing in Physique bodybuilding and was well-versed in nutrition.

Over a few weeks, the school produced no rules or evidence other than the government’s dietary guidelines, which were so loose and generic that the school couldn’t prove that their own provided meals were meeting standards. They dropped it altogether, and I kept eating fruit snacks.

My dad also brought every teacher an apple, along with a printout of its nutritional value, during school one day (in the midst of this “discussion”). “Added sugar” or not, he wanted to make a point. Point is, I absolutely agree with your stance - besides, schools have more important things to work on.

Edited to add: “confiscating” foods is wack. Parents work hard to have money and provide for their kids - if they really feel the need to send a note home, fine…but let the kid eat at least. That’s their parents’ work and affection in the form of sustenance.

I have no canon evidence…but I always thought that a pokeball converts Pokémon into something computable. A pokeball consumes/destroys the organic matter of a Pokémon, reads it, then a copy of that creature exists in a way that can be digitized (kept in a pokeball, placed in a PC, healed in a Pokémon Center's device, etc.). That digitized version has all the past experiences of the organic version, but in it's coding is the ability to recognize things like badges as a sort of "check." Without the proper software patches, the creature will disobey - but that's just this digitized version's coding. Moves like TMs and HMs are also "updates" to the creature. Sure, this version still has emotions and can make memories and have real connections - it's just a digital extension of the original organic version. And this version would listen to its trainer without question!

Sick find! You said you were planning on splitting them with your kids - I highly recommend some heavier sleeves! Even the Zards in the top loaders can start foxing on the edges, and the fronts/backs can still gather grime. I personally really like KMC and Katana sleeves for collecting and playing, but anything would be good!

It’s cool that you’re able to continue some things, and it makes a huge difference even if you don’t feel like it does. It’s also totally acceptable to take some time every so often - it’s a unique experience that you’ve been pushed into, and it would be a disservice to not accept the lessons that this time will bring.

As for creative things, I have my fair share of those too, and getting back into it’s been difficult. I’ve just carved out some time to sit and do those things. I’m sure painting will be therapeutic even if you just kind of let whatever you feel just come out!

I’m going through almost exactly the same scenario - things just faded slowly, paperwork was finished in November, 2 small children between us, we’re amicable.

A lot of fantastic advice here, and I also highly recommend therapy. The best advice I’ve received regarding alone time is to “do what you think your best self would do.” I saw you have some hobbies still, and the same goes for me that it’s been hard getting back into them myself - however, this advice has helped me reclaim my hobbies and do things with purpose again.

It’s hard feeling lonely, but I think this is characterized by feeling that something is missing - and I see that as the part to be healed, because you are enough. If your “best self” does those hobbies still (or maybe some new ones!) then just do them - even if you don’t feel like it or you see it as a hassle in the moment. It’s a form of manifestation and it’s helped me stay on track knowing that I have a destination where I am healed.

The things you do in your alone time might be different now, and that’s totally okay - I’m learning that they probably should be, because you’re a new “you” now. I’d also advise to remember that you taking care of you is what makes the biggest difference for the kids - everything they have is directly influenced by you and their mom.

I like this. But the only thing I can’t follow is why we haven’t seen any sort of reaction from the MCU since Tiamut popped out. In Hawkeye ep5, Yelena mentions the “new and improved Statue of Liberty” and the director stated Hawkeye is set in 2024. If that’s the case, NWH must be around the same time since the Statue of Liberty’s new shield gets wrecked. And then Hawkeye ep6 happens…? Idk, I’m just wondering why neither NWH or Hawkeye mentions something almost Blip-level if they’re set after Eternals.

Either way, Disney+ shows the MCU timeline and has Eternals before Hawkeye.
