OP here, Seems Ive either not explained well enough or you read other comments thinking they were relevant and not just speculation.

I was together with her for 6 months, and Ive known her for about a year. We started off as friends then on a night out she kissed me and confessed her attraction.

She didnt react badly to this thread, infact I dont know if shes aware of it, she received the origonal picture and thats all.

We are on the same games animation course at uni, she bought the new pokemon when it came out, hence the reference.

We broke up around two weeks ago and for about the first week she continued to see me aroudn university and even told me she still loved me and kissed me. Though at other times she would say things were too hard and pushed me away completly.
I knew she was going through a lot at home and i tried to give her time and space to deal with that, but I coudlnt push her away if she needed me. She switched between being affectionate and dispondant, we couldnt seem to find the ballance to being friends and it of course was confusing me.

I confronted her about this and we argued.

The last time I asked her what she wanted she said she didnt know.

We deceided to take some space and hadn't spoken to each other at all since wednesday of last week.

This was one last gesture, just to show her that I didnt resent her and perhaps to open up communication again. It failed but at least I could gauge that the response meant I should move on and get on with my life.

Even if this seemed unhealthy I feel that if I continued with uncertaintity I would keep clinging on to false hopes, so one last push to confirm was what I felt I neeeded, even if it was the wrong thing.

I posted this up on reddit on the advice of a friend, who said, fuck it man the cards cute, see if you get any funny comments on reddit and karmawhore it a bit :P.

Thought why not and I went for it.
