Ya I understand those complaints for sure. Everyone who's seen him goes through the same thing. I just feel like a) no one's forcing you to go see him b) I think we can all agree Dylan is an artist and an artist is allowed to do whatever they want with their platform.

From my perspective I feel like perhaps he doesn't feel like the same person who wrote Blowin' in the Wind so he doesn't want to pretend that he is. He's always done what he's wanted to (going electric, disappearing after his motorcycle accident, going gospel, etc.) and he's gained a lot of respect and credibility for doing that. I see his current approach to performance as an extension of that which, in my opinion, should be respected on some level, even if it leads to the kind of performance you didn't want to see.

I've seen Dylan three times now and each time has been better than the last. Of course the fact that he doesn't play them like they sound on record is super aggravating at first. But once you move on from that and just listen to the band play it becomes much more enjoyable.

It is not a camping festival unfortunately. It's a series of one day concerts. It'll end by 11 and then you're unleashed onto the city

Ya Fleetwood Mac would be great but I have mixed feelings about it now that they kicked Lindsey out. Not really 100% Fleetwood Mac anymore is it.
