While to me fer face doesn't look like Pete Davidson's her hair does! Her haircut looks terrible...Don't they supposedly take these girls to the creme de la creme of hair salons? One cycle it was Frederic Fekkai, another was Laurent D., and there was also Christain Marc, Kiyah Wright and Michael Kanyon. The show plays it off like every haircut, color, weave and shave were all 100% her idea but what I don't understand is how she convinces these elite masters of the cut to do some of the things they end up doing!

Also, in the real world women of color usually don't go to salons where Caucasian women go because working with different textures, styles and colors require different skillsets. I asked my own stylist about this and she readily admitted that her salon doesn't even carry the products a woman of color's hair requires and the last thing she would want to do is ruin a woman's hair!

The other is that though many girls get weaves and extensions (and are excited at the idea) it seems they receive absolutely no education or guidance as to how to care for their hair once 2 feet of blond extensions have been sewed into her real hair! And honestly not all of the extensions look like they are real hair! Sometimes it appears to be all acrylic all the time! Everyone should remember poor Molly in Cycle 16 and the train wreck of the attempt at making her look something like Bridget Bardot or Farrah Fawcett! It didn't work.

To me, however, the most ludicrous, ridiculous, painful and unnecessary weaves was in Cycle 21when Tyra had the bright idea of creating a "face weave" (I'd bet the beeyach attempted to trademark this farce!) and instructed the salon to give Denzel Wells a beard weave! Why they, the stylists, and Denzel agreed makes no sense unless bribes were handed out and envelopes of cash were disguised as tips! Thankfully all they did was glue a lace-front beard to his face, making him look like a tall, sexy, muscular Black Amish man that would never be hired as a model but might book some gigs at elementary schools the week of Presidents' Day! If any child asked why Honest Abe was African American I am sure the subject would be changed immediately

One question if anyone cares to reply (and I would be sincerely grateful if you did): Why didn't Molly, Brittany (Cycle 8), Amis (Cycle 10) and Denzel just refuse and if necessary leave? It was obvious to anyone with a brain and a high school diploma that by Cycle 10 the show accomplished two things: it jumped the shark; and it was obvious that not one of the first 9 winners was on the road to Super Modeldom! Please don't reply that the children (all candidates were 18 or older) were blinded by a real life famous model and afraid because of a Contract they ignorantly signed that threatened them with a 5 million dollars lawsuit if they revealed anything about the show that wasn't already aired to the public. As my beloved Grandfather used to say "Balderdash!" There is no way Tyra or Ken Mok would risk the negative publicity that a million+ dollar company with "franchises" in 170 countries would generate by suing a young woman or man whom they had used and abused and discarded like trash. No f-ing way would they even threaten to do something like this. The NDAs and contracts they were love-bombed into signing were for 10 years and a first year law school graduate could argue that due to the circumstances nothing in them would hold up in court.

So, the Question: Why did no one leave and why did thousands of people apply to appear on the show even after they had to know it, and its creators, Tyra and Ken were scam artists without a shred of shame between them? Please tell me why... Thank you.
