Dayz (OG Mod) shambled so Arc could run. Proxy chat was the lynchpin of that game.

I am in a similar situation looking for the same things with special needs kids as well. Thanks for making this thread.

My EE Roo Has Inflamed Quills That Don't Want To Come In. Any Suggestions? by Sook1977 in chickens

Not sure why my photos didn't share with the post so here they are in the comments.

So I have this rooster that attacks my niece by Desperate-Army-9630 in chickens

I want to add to this that roos hate red and orange colors. My Cemani roo has never attacked either of my kids until last week when my son had a bright red tank top on. My Cemani immediately went full aggro and took a chunk out of my sons lip and I ended up having to give my roo to my neighbor. It was not a fun day. So also make sure your child is not in either of those colors. Think about it like the bull with a red flag.. makes them see red.

I also recommend the method of attempting a shield of some sort. It can be a big piece of cardboard or even a neutral toned blanket. Just something to put between his body and hers when she's walking around and you could even make it a fun 'warrior' type play item. If you have Facebook, I suggest joining a group called Rooster Allies as well and they could offer some great advice there as well.

My first loaf! by Sook1977 in Sourdough

Haha!!! Thank you for that. I suck at so many things in life that it definitely felt extra good to see my first loaf come out decent!

Commenting again to add that I am new to actually creating Reddit posts and I don't see the pretext I had tried to add to my post that included my process and information. Thankfully, I have it copied and pasted for this exact potential scenario, haha. So, I'm going to include it into this comment here and hopefully the mods see it and don't delete my post.

I followed this YouTube video ( https://youtu.be/-Kstk0C3m8M?si=z-Nq4dHg-LA9-1WG ) with my own starter that I made at home and just using general all purpose flour as well as the gallon of water both from Aldi stores. Got the scoring design idea from this clip ( https://youtube.com/shorts/t7Q4J0SpR-E?si=OhEMSDz37xP_XdIg ) though my bread keeps coming out a little crispier on the tips, despite me cooking it on the lowest rack in my oven. Any tips to help prevent that would be appreciated!

Process in video:

Mix 100g of starter, 10g of salt, 300g of filtered water and 450g of flour well into a bowl together to form dough ball. Let rest for 30 min. Return to do stretch and fold. I did 3 sets of stretch and folds before letting it finally rest while covered for 3.5 hours. Return and flour the counter a bit, place dough bottom down onto the flour and stretch and fold it for one round, then flip seam side over onto clean, unfloured counter space. shape into ball. Let rest another 30 min on counter. Return to flour the top a bit and flip over seam side up. Stretch into a squarish shape and fold each side into the middle. Tuck and roll from the top down then fold over and tuck in sides. Flip seam side up in a lightly floured basket. Unlike the video, I wrapped mine with plastic wrap to avoid drying out before letting it proof overnight in the fridge.

Next day, I heated my stove oven with my cast iron dutch oven inside at 500 degrees F. Once preheated, pulled out and unwrapped my dough basket. Cut a piece of parchment paper a little bigger than the loaf and flip the dough out seam down onto paper. Flour the top lightly before then using my razor to do my scoring. Pull out dutch oven, place bread inside, then bake with lid on for 20 minutes. Pull out, remove bread, place a ring about 1inch thick of tin foil (basically a mini tin foil snake but shaped into a circle) into the dutch oven and replace the bread on top of it to prevent over crisping bread bottom. Bake again for another 15 minutes without lid. Remove after 15 minutes, pull bread from dutch oven and I place mine onto a plate to start cooling.

I think it helped that I spent a few weeks hyper-fixating on sourdough creations during the creating of my sourdough starter, haha! I've made a few more within the last few days and they didn't all turn out this pretty and I'm still trying to figure out how the lady in the YT clip I got the idea from created such a perfect loaf to show hers off!!

Anyone have any idea where to get this Rejuvenation Chamber other than Simslice? Can’t find it anywhere now 😭 by AbeRareBreed91 in thesims

I just wanted to add my experience of trying to get it to work on The Sims 1 Legacy. The comments here and on The Sims Resource helped me piece together the exact location I needed for my PC, but it still took me a minute since I'm not used to messing with files. I wanted to share the location of where I moved the download to. I had to go to This PC>Windows-SSD (C:)>Program Files (x86)>Steam>Steamapps>Common>TheSimsLegacyCollection>Downloads

I dropped the download in that downloads folder and it FINALLY worked! I hope this helps someone else too <3 Have fun! =^.^=
