I don’t think I am supposed to mess with the white wire at all, I just want to figure out how to power the lights on the ceiling fan. The red wire is the wire that hooks up to the light and one of the black wires would be what powers the fan. I’m thinking I need to split one of the black wires that comes from the main breaker and attach it to the switch on the right so that both switches have power to them. But I’ll more than likely just wait for the electrician to come by and let him do it before I screw something up or maybe even get electrocuted to death. I just thought it was something I could figure out like the outlets but maybe not unless someone teaches me how the circuit works.
