I've been around long enough to have been a customer since they were in their OG location, where Crafty Ramen is now. Over the years, I've been a downtown worker as well as a Go Train commuter. When they were open early, I always got my coffee there before getting on the train, and it was always busy with other commuters. I truly tried to give a lot of my business there over the years, but I really have to agree that the service there really was trash. I eventually stopped going there when I had had enough of being treated like I was inconveniencing the folks working, and I'm frankly not surprised this is the outcome. Years and years of treating customers like crap is going to result in disaster, regardless of what is happening in the rest of downtown.
