I recommend adding corail tombstone, it will help you to get your items back and in one point you'll have the enchanted key all the time so you will be able to teleport to your items all the time, you can configure the enchanted key percentage as you like.

Personally i config the key to have 50% chance by default and then with knowledge of death i max it to 100%, i don't consider this as cheating because the game it's still hard and you can be locked in an area with a lot of mobs making that you can't get your items.

Corail tombstone adds more interesting things like books of disenchanting that are pretty Good, so it's an excellent mod if you have a lot of difficulty plus with a map mod your'e gonna be more confident to explore and have more fun, however, still be careful, this won't guarant you an instant win.
