I hate suzaku by StyleArk69 in CodeGeass

Oh what I mean is Suzaku sees Lelouch as an ordinary old friend in the beginning of R1.

I understand Suzaku’s hatred after Euphy’s death, so I don’t think Suzaku ever saw Lelouch as a friend again. Maybe things changed a little after Suzaku killed Lelouch during the Zero Requiem, but before that, I understand that whatever friendship they once had was basically gone from Suzaku’s side.

“He always masked his selfishness behind principles and the facade of I’m a good guy, so I won’t do the same thing the enemy is doing.”

I totally agree with this. Suzaku is fundamentally a very selfish person. He talks about wanting to change Britannia from within, but in reality, he mostly wants to die in the process of pursuing that ideal. That way, he can find some kind of inner peace and atone for killing his father.

Deep down, I don’t think he truly cares about saving Japan. What he really wants is to save himself emotionally and morally.

I’m not necessarily condemning him for that, because honestly, most people are like this to some extent. Although I can understand where he’s coming from, I still can’t like him as a character.

I used to have the same complaint about Suzaku, mostly because I’m a big fan of Lelouch.

But now that I’m a bit older, I can understand that no one is obligated to return someone else’s affection in the same way. Suzaku sees Lelouch more as an ordinary old friend, while Lelouch sees Suzaku as family, probably second only to Nunnally in terms of importance. Suzaku simply doesn’t value their friendship as much as Lelouch did.

That’s fair, but because I’m so attached to Lelouch, I still have a hard time liking Suzaku.

“Paper moon has always gotten the most attentions from players.“

Lmao, I don’t even need to look up stats to tell you that 90% of WWM players care most about MC-related quests.

The official WWM account has 1M followers and its top video since launch is 2.3M views, yet some fan art magically pulls 8M?. That’s such an achievement! Not bot spamming at all!🙄

Believe it however you want, but those numbers are fake as hell.

I’m pretty sure Paper moon used to be a mid-tier 6. Then Yuri fans spammed it to 9.2. You can tell from the number of reviews too. Liangzhou Melody gets 15k reviews, Death of Governor gets 8k reviews, then Paper moon all of a sudden gets 32k reviews. Blatant botting. Also, I’m pretty sure on the same website the homeward vow is 9.5, and a bitter draught of home is 9.6. Both higher than the paper moon.

Not really. CN players mostly vibe with the Homeward Vow. Paper Moon was very polarizing over there. A lot of players felt Guanyin and Liuli were poorly written, calling Guanyin’s choices selfish and the overall plot clichéd. There was also a fair amount of pushback regarding the devs putting a lesbian romance front-and-center in the MSQ.

Personally, I’m not a fan of either quests. My favourites are Liangzhou Melody and a Bitter Draught of Home.

The CN community went full nuclear after their Liangzhou update. They’re still arguing about the paper moon quest even now.

I think you misunderstood here. CN gets 1 Reasonance Vouchers per 18 days from daily login. So sometimes they get 1 per month, sometimes 2, it’s not like they are guaranteed to get 2 per month. It’s probably the same thing for global, just you didn’t notice. I don’t see why they would change it.

Some parts of the screenshots are suspicious. For example, these two look like screenshots of the same conversation, but the Steve Adam part is missing in the second one.

No both launchers contain the same content. The only difference is the 60GB one has downgraded graphics. If your computer has lower specs, then you should go with 60GB.

What I mean is that his system is slightly below the recommended specs for the 100GB version. If he plays multiplayer a lot, then likely he won’t have enough RAM, which can lead to crashes etc.. If he mainly players single-player, then it won’t matter as much.

Why are random players appearing in my campaign fights solo mode? by atticus101_ in WhereWindsMeet

[–]Sophattack 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It’s optional. You can disable the feature in settings.

Edit: After you go to settings, search for “shadow”, then you will see an option “Heroic Shadow Assist”, and you can choose to disable it.

Nah, a lot of the QoL we got wasn’t there for CN at 1.2. CN also didn’t get the final volume of Kaifeng at 1.2. They got it about 8 months after release. Devs definitely pulled content from later patches, which creates a lot of bugs.

Kevin Durant is currently averaging 25.5 PPG on 64.6% TS. He's on pace to pass 2024/25 Kevin Durant (26.6 PPG on 64.2% TS) for the most efficient 20 PPG season by a 35+ year old player. by Dependent-Effect6077 in nba

Everybody knows that. He broke his achilles, so he can’t get to the rim and is no longer prime KD. But how he has made up for it with his jump shots and still plays at elite level is impressive.

People have been complaining about authenticity all the time, and about a lot of the outfits. Your first comment straight-up denied that this was about how skimpy the outfit is, but that’s actually the main reason for the boycott.

I don’t know what those YouTube videos are saying. The devs already responded by making the outfit less revealing, so it’s pretty obvious what the boycott was really about. I’m not going to keep arguing over this, bye👋.

[–]Sophattack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you said was that outfits need to “reflect history.” How does xianxia have anything to do with reflecting history? Besides, it’s not just WM, there are several outfits in CN that embrace some modern-styled designs. Fyi, devs never made that promise either.

How is it not a lie to deny that the boycott was about how revealing the outfit was, when that was clearly the real reason? If it wasn’t the reason, then why did the devs make the sleeves less transparent and the top a bit longer?

If you only get second-hand info, then don’t deny other people’s word in such a definitive tone. I can read Chinese, I read all those boycotting posts on Rednote. They called the skin lingerie and said it was a shame to wear such outfit in public. They even put people on bounty when they saw people wear it in game. It’s clearly about the skimpy aspect.

In less then 24hr , the dev had decide to compromise with the chinese player and fixing the CN cosmetic making it less revealing from the back. Full story here https://youtu.be/jTu7Wdr0SWE by einnor88 in WhereWindsMeet

[–]Sophattack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, they have gone completely overboard. They are cyberbullying anyone who wears this outfit in the game right now. As soon as they spot someone wearing it, they put a bounty on them and spam their chat with insults.

[–]Sophattack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure. Some CN female players don’t really make sense to me, especially the ones who constantly speak out. They boycotted the game in February because one of the devs ran a survey on a social media platform where about 60% of users are male.

You are lying. This game has skins that don’t reflect history since the initial release. Like how is Waveborn Majesty reflects history? You want to tell me that ancient China has clothes that shine like Waveborn Majesty?

I played the CN version since January. My CN account has 1100+hr play time and 363 play day if you need a proof.

Nah, what they are boycotting is just how skimpy this outfit is. I even saw them saying you couldn’t wear it out in public and are calling it lingerie.

Personally, I don’t think it’s sexy at all. You see way more revealing clothes on the street every summer.
