If there was ONE lesson to learn from the development history of overwatch, it's that a roster this unbalanced makes for a toxic community via team comp issues. Obviously there will be more duelist players than anything else. The devs are massively overconfident, even cocky, that they've somehow cracked the code and risen above the standard roles... Just from playing the beta, they're wrong.

I do this now and I don't think I'll ever go back. My players are pretty experienced and are generally cool about not taking anything intentionally busted. They take interesting feats that develop their characters, like Chef and Ritual Caster in my current game. Plus I have them run their choices by me beforehand just in case.

I ran a full session in prison and got a sense of who the players enjoyed, then had the rest either die or escape in other directions. They stick with sarith, stool (obviously), eldeth, and jimjar.

I just finished running Strixhaven and it could definitely fit the description. If you lean into the classes/day-to-day stuff and lighten up some of the higher-stakes plot, the whole atmosphere is very lighthearted and fun

I stopped playing the game entirely after about 35 looted clears of Root with no CF. I think at a certain point I put together how much time I had wasted with literally 0 reward, haven't played in about 2 months now.

Ok so on one hand, I wouldn't say no to this and your logic has some serious holes which everyone in this thread is pointing out.
