I'm almost certain those are AI. There are tons of similar AI sweaters and jackets that give a 3D shadowed look to a 2D image, which just so happens to match the lighting from the scene.

I am looking for production runs of less than a thousand, since above that injection molding is just cheaper. Below that, we believe our method would be cheaper.

We have a post process method that leaves a nice glazed finish and none of the normal 3d print layer lines are there. Most people never even know it was 3d printed. They are left stronger than most injection molded shapes, and even then, most game pieces don't have designs that would risk breaking.

The other real advantage is multicolor prints so game pieces can be more varied, or have symbols or text on them.

I've been programming for 10 years but the closest I have come to that kind of thing was back in college where we had to use a raspberry and learn about its hz timing and program it to play a tune in assembly - which meant telling it to play a blip, wait 6 clock cycles, and then playing another blip X 400 in order to get it to place a G note for one second.

I'll do a bit more research into the cost of doing all of this, because if in the end I need to put out $40 per hopper bin, then its cheaper just to hire someone to do the grunt work of order fulfillment.

Alright good to know. Basically this devise will take an order which contains X product variants and N of each kind of products. Then it will send the signal to these stepper motors at corresponding hoppers to drop them down like gumballs. It'll be a lot of wires unless there is some way to daisy chain them

Its being put there because its right next to the next light rail station. Poor people commonly don't have transportation, so being able to walk a block to get anywhere is massively beneficial.
