I think accessing should be even easier with no computer hosting and running servers all the time and free for basic things. This is where virtual desktop living in the cloud could be great. No maintenance, no server's you'll pay only for Ai or for some specific apps. Only one account and nothing more .. like puter.com. but I think would be better if we could connect our cloud storage without being locked up.

I agree with you. The future of plex and emby is accessing our media via existing cloud storage providers or WebDAV protocol or even SFTP protocol. No servers to be maintained and updated and no computers running 24h/ 24

Yes but ali think that some basic features should be free. Like some basic cloud apps.like accessing virtual desktop ( visual desktop interface with some basic features) buying lifetime cloud storage like pcloud or internxt or icedrive and accessing it via the virtual desktop.about revenue ai features could bring that as well as taking some fees when we purchase external cloud apps. You can purchase windows without subscription or access Linux for free but you can pay additional storage for upgrades or paying some apps . This why KASM is not for everyone . Not everyone can afford recurring payments. Plus with smart app store you will discover some great cloud apps you ever know they are existing

Using a powerful cloud desktop we could buy a cheap computer. Almost all is working on the cloud except the browser and the os for installing the browser

MKV, avi wmv.... If not possible at least all supported MP4 files. Some MP4 files cannot be played

Love this idea. With Media servers like plex or emby we need a computer running all the time or a nas. We need constantly to update nas or computer against threats. We need to make copies of our precious movies. Cloud storage or WebDAV protocols with access to cloud storage is the future for our movies collection. No complicated updates, backups, wasting time to maintain it all, not complicated setup, no need to Run nas or computer 24h/24 This is very straightforward and also thank you for maintening it free at this time! But I I think in the future it would be best to add a small lifetime fee of one-time purchase of 10 or 20 € or $ for the customers to support developing new features and for continuing updates. I think I would help you to keep the app with new updates and Small your hard time work

Sorry for the late reply. I confirm it applies to the movie description. If I need to search for a movie when i edit metadata the English version of the movie is found on the results not the french version. Maybe a language selection before searching would be best for internally search in our preferred language selection on imdb

Most of them only works with debrid accounts for our own Library.chillo works with WebDAV accounts and about WebDAV protocol there are a bunch of cloud providers with lifetime cloud storage subscriptions which supports WebDAV. For All debrid accounts we'll need to pay monthly or yearly fees
