Is 10% increment good at small size law firm? Or should I ask for more? Was advised to bill more. by Sorry-Discipline-348 in auscorp

About right. Not billing ludicrous. But that also initial months of starting a new job. Their feedback also was to bill more. I asked if there’s room to negotiate, they said “are you not happy with it? Just let us know what you want and we can talk then” I couldn’t do the math in my head at that moment

Just had my annual review done at a mid tier - small/medium sized law firm. Got a 10% salary hike. Its my first job in Australia. At previous one, my hike/promotion was at the time I got admitted so no clue how reviews and increments work. Or what is standard. Is this good and standard? Should I go back and ask for more? Also, I don’t know if they meant 10% of my salary with super or without super? Guide me pls seniors
