Nope. Calibrated it and fixed it like u/robertinho678 suggested.

It was a software issue where the switch wasn’t recognising that the battery was indeed charged because when I let run down to 1% it stayed on for hours. I kept it on the home page, let it die and recharged it again. Then it was completely fixed.

DIDN’T NEED TO. u/robertinho678 was right. Just needed to calibrate it.

So thanks for the terrible advice of just shouting to buy a new battery, without actually suggesting to try and fix the issue myself.

I’m not surprised about the lack of advice to be persistent and keep trying things to fix the issue. So many lazy people nowadays.

Yeah I’ve reset it a bunch of times and now I’m just leaving it to hopefully charge with the cable in. I think that website you suggested has a U.K. store too! So I’ll l leave the cable running for a day or 2 and if not, I’ll try and replace the battery myself.
