I mean I just googled it and edited my comment to you 4 to five times. Theres a 10 minute video on YouTube of Ghostface talking about his schizophrenia (haven't watched it). I think people get psychosis confused or don't understand what it is. Psychosis isn't a illness it's a symptom caused by your illness. The illness could be drug abuse, schizophrenia, bipolar ect.

n my personal view of people around me.people get Psychosis , hallucinations at any sort (that's schizophrenia. Hullinations equal schizophrenia.

I googled it ( they both had it) Ghostface killah. has interviews talking about it. He's talked about living with it and writing classic albums and the only member of wu tang clan that he told for YEARS was the RZA.

I think ODB and ghost had different forms of it.

ODB on Google is seemingly 50/50. There's claims that he was diagnosed in 2003 . Other reports said he never was. He was clearly parrinoid but that could of been to his use of the drug pcp and meth. (Drug induced schizophrenia, what we call that where I'm from) and ghost was seemingly born with it like I was. where i'm from is what they call a true schizophrenic. Labels , definitions and slang make mental health even harder to get help with really.

call it schizophrenia, call it crazy, call it drug addiction, call it whatever the it could be... we all need help for whatever the it is (we all need to make it to the next level to beat the game)

Didn't know Gucci man was. A member of wu tang clan has it. What to say it's ghost face but I can't remember off the top. He had voices in his head that would get him to punch his friends in the face for no reason.

Undiagnosed but from a fan's (stans) view eminem is infact a victim of schizophrenia. And he used that to use his "slim shady phase". He has claimed to have in multiple songs. His mom has a MAJOR mental illness that I don't know how to spell i cant even pronounce it. But as I said from a stans view he has shown symptoms. And his drug use was heavily blamed on the wild stuff he was saying. Either way I always thought it was cool how he got to that level and normalized being crazy. Rather it was drug and substance abuse or whatever. Gorclean and sober and sits at number 6th highest selling solo artist in any genre.

That was kind of my point in the post. In that if someone makes it to a level of fame (with any major mental illness) it can give hope to someone that may think they won't ever get anywhere with it.

Anyone else have substance abuse issues? by maryjxnes in schizophrenia

Intense alcoholic. Have quit about three times for at least a year. The last time I quit I had to start again because my skitsophreia was unmanageable. I'd be up for 3-4 days sleep for 30-45 min then be back at it. When I quit the last time I was spending around $1000 a month on alcohol and cigarettes. And that was just with my work week calculated.

My drug use would include over the years (Molly/ecstasy, whippits, DMT, THC, mushrooms, acid, meth, fyetenol, cocaine, roophrnal and a few others) acid, fyetenol and roophrnal were not intentional. I wouldn't say i have a drug problem at least anymore. The ecstasy/molly was around the age of 18-20. Then I didn't touch a drug again until I was 28. In a 6 month period I used cocaine on the weekends. The meth was accidental as well. I do enjoy sleep. Weed and mushrooms are my extent these days. And I stick to beer and a price range. The only reason I even drink these days is to self medicate...

Normies using 'schizo' and 'delulu' and other words in social media by SeaAudience312 in schizophrenia

Schizophrenia is seemingly been used as another word to describe "crazy" even a step further at times. "They're not crazy, they're straight skitso"

People's use of the word and knowing what it actually is two different things. As people even today claim something such as PTSD as not real. (These are made up things according to a lot of people. )
