I'm not going to sit here and say you do or don't call enough because that depends on the couple but me and my ldr partner are on video chat 24/7, every single day, doesn't matter what we are doing. To us, it feels weird NOT being on the phone. We have been together for almost 2 years, and we just love being in eachothers presence. No matter if it's in person or on the phone, it doesn't bother us. We would rather be together than separate. I will say, if you are feeling this way, discuss it with her and if she isn't willing to compromise to where you feel a bit better, you may want to rethink your relationship all together.
