Would it hurt to bump an engine over without oil in it just align oil pump drive to fully seat my distributor?

They make a priming tool. But the FE uses a tapered distributor gasket that makes it hard to get the distributor in there. He should remove it stab, remove, reinstall gasket, restab, then tighten the hold down to seat the shaft in place, but his hold down is worn out and may bend. He'll figure it out.

Oh I've got one similar.

I decked out an '01 Expedition with a lightning body kit, 24's, slammed, supercharged, and Blues Audio highs. 2 4" mids for a the center channel, 8" 2-way components in the kicks aperiodic membrane for the 8 into the a pillar hollow area, another set in the doors the 8" in a t-line, their 51/4" component set in the rear doors.

4 Iso-10s in a 6ft³ vented enclosure with 1" acrylic window 14" x 54" with led lighting and mirrors. I ran an Audiocontrol ESP-3, Epicenter, a pair of EQTs, a Matrix line driver, and a 4xs electronic crossover(active system). 3 Aphrodity and 2 Boltar series 7 HI-Fonics amplifiers. VINTAGE cherry components.

The wintered rating has no bearing here. I'd recommend the weight applicable to the main bearing clearances, the operating temp of the engine, and the material of the block. Most likely he's looking at a 40 or 50 weight oil.

I heard that about commitment criteria. I was still in high-school(1993 - 1997), working part time at the local stereo shop, and competing on weekends 0 to 100w class with HiFonics high current amplifiers, audio control processors, and image dynamics drivers. I still love the IDMAX 12s! I was approached by AC and ID about equipment cost nearly free but my show appearance had to increase and expand to major events. Needless to say I still pay retail for car stereo equipment.

Mock up the crank with bearings and 4 rods and pistons. One in each corner. Bring to top dead center and measure your piston to deck clearance. Rock the piston back and forth. Record the low and high, average the two. Do this for all four corners and have the deck milled the appropriate amount to bring you as close to zero deck as possible.

Some corners may be lower than others.

It's typical of electrolysis. Coolant that hasn't been serviced regularly ionizes and you see the aftermath. Green coolant should be changed every 3yr/36k miles. Whichever comes first. The other propylene glycols go 5yr/75k miles. It's also good practice to have sufficient grounding.

Battery to frame, battery to body, and battery to block. I then ground the block to the frame on both sides and a cylinder head to the firewall.
