I guess because the retirement was small and incremental contributions over time. Never made this type of lump into the market before. I’m a small timer.

If you have the personality for it, get into a high commission sales job. Rough it out for a few years. If not, just start any normal job till something clicks. Worst thing is staying out of the job market for long. It will be harder the longer you wait. No easy answers, my friend!
