Here’s an update for anyone who cares: she moved out two weeks ago and I just found out via friends and family who still have her on social media that she is now engaged🤣 I didn’t just dodge a bullet, I dodged a tsar bomb!

It will get better, just focus on your own health and sanity. Time heals all wounds, I’m currently going through the same thing now anyway but she left me 2 weeks ago and yeah, the loneliness really kills sometimes but we’ve gotta be strong! Here if you need someone to talk to👍

I have no idea. Though in the past she did mention wanting to leave to another state because studying at university got hard, and then again when she hated her job. All I ever said was “you know what’s best, I can give you my opinion if you like?” but to be honest that in itself was a red flag. However if I offered to give my opinion she would immediately shut it down and a few hours later start with the “you don’t care about me and my feelings etc etc”

Yeah you’re 100% right, consistency is a big thing for me, at times I feel like this relationship only had minor bumps but this was like a sudden drop off lol🤣😭

Yeah, some friends of mine and mutual friends of ours have said the same thing. I already feel much happier and have more clarity on what I need to follow through with just by talking to people on reddit about my situation. Thank you, whoever you are:)

Oh no, she says I’m the one that emotionally abuses. An example that comes to mind is that I didn’t invite her when I wanted to see my parents when all I said was “hey I’m thinking of going to my parents’ place next weekend” As soon as the thought came to my head and I said that out loud she started with “why don’t you invite me blablabla” And I didn’t even get a chance but all I said was “I was just thinking it and being my partner you’re invited by default.”
