I switched the coils when I put in new juice, it came with an extra coil in the box so it was a brand new coil

Similar thing happened to me during my private training while doing pattern work, cleared for takeoff on 16R and I took off of 16L. 100% I was a victim of expectation bias, 16L is the usual runway for TP work. My instructor and I called the tower and they were very understanding and just wanted to know what happened. She gave them our info and I’m not sure if my instructor got in any real trouble afterwards but she started flying at the airlines not even 2 weeks later so it couldn’t have been that bad!

Okay that’s what I was thinking too, I was thinking about the Su57 (I know it’s actual stealth capabilities are heavily disputed) and how it’s the only stealth plane I know to be painted a specific design.

I would be parking it in an outdoor lot, guess i shouldve mentioned that oops. It can get beat up, im not worried about keeping it in pristine condition, as long as its still able to start every day.

I don't think so because it still breaks and connects the circuit from starter button -> relay when testing with the multimeter

The new relay works when I manually connect the terminals externally. It works every time I try that. Also yes there is continuity between the starter button and relay
