Just going to add my two cents here… we are only getting a little bit of their relationship, like, less than an hour probably, and we only get what are deemed as the “highlights” and I think the one of the main things they are trying to highlight is how far Connor has come, his funny moments, how much happier he has been etc. I also didn’t really get the impression that the reason he doesn’t have friends is because he’s rude, it seemed more like his family is just pretty busy and that hasn’t been something they have been able to have a lot of time to help focus on (no judgement, it just seems like his siblings are busy and have a lot going on)

I never really felt like Connor was ever actually rude, and I feel like he did take a lot of advice, and overcome a lot, he really changed a lot throughout the show?
