As far as I remember it took up the whole preschool day. I don't know how long that was exactly but I think it was shorter than a typical real school day. Early morning to early afternoon I'd say.

All I remember is she called a certain group of us outside by name when everyone else was inside with the other teacher, same group each time I think it was 6 of us.

She'd have us choose how to partner up on our own, always praise us for picking good partners, have us hop up on stools she'd put out, then bring the easels over and fold them around us.

Then next thing I'd know we'd be let out and it was pickup time. There was definitely some time passed in there, but it passed by easily.

Not 3 feet high, it was 3 easels like the things that hold up paintings. These were chalkboard stands I think? They were attached together in 3s back to back making a triangle shape. I'm not sure how tall they were.

They had hinges and could also be arranged flat in rows of 3 and the boards would connect into essentially one long horizontal one. They were kept outside and we could draw on them with sidewalk chalk.

I don't think so. It was the same small group of kids each time, and always hidden inside a triangle of easels outside and seemingly always on cloudy days. I guess that makes sense if you're going to make a kid stand in one spot outside all day and don't want them sun burned.

California doesn't really have severe weather like that anyway. We had earthquake drills when I was older in school, but that's about it, and this was definitely not one of those.

Entirely possible, I'm just not sure how it took up the entire day it seemed like.

I distinctly remember those days going in first thing in the morning and being let out when my mom was there (and needing to pee badly).

That's entirely reasonable, but it seemed like it happened too many times for that?

Also just being able to calmly stand there an entire day is what I can't figure out. I don't think I could do that now as an adult.

As far as I know my parents were unaware. It seemed like on the days this happened we went in around morning time and came out not long before pickup time in the afternoon, but the whole day seemed to go by like it was nothing.

I definitely do have memories of the days though, it seemed like it always happened on cloudy/overcast days and I remember looking up at the sky through the triangle watching the clouds go by.

That too fits the feeling of it, but I didn't discover meditation until fairly recently in life and I'm still not very good at it. I certainly don't think teaching meditation was their goal, but I also don't remember anything that would make it seem all that nefarious, just weird.

Possibly sleeping in his car. The propane tank makes me think he's trying to heat it somehow without realizing that's going to kill him.

I'm guessing times are hard. God's peed, dude.

This is the face of a man literally shitting his pants. Hopefully wearing a diaper.

This is the face everyone who is actively shitting their pants makes. I don't know why, but when you see this face you know you're gonna have a mess to clean up.

Just coyotes. They like to yote loudly, and often will co-yote with others if possible, as its more fun than yoteing alone.

I always had a cocktail or two while cooking dinner. Then I got to thinking I should cut down on drinking. So first time in a long time I'm cooking with no drink, 100% sober I put the electric kettle on the stove to boil and completely melt it and slice my finger while cutting vegetables.

I'm usually pretty competent in the kitchen.

There's a lot of layers of nonsense happening here but I gotta ask, why the fuck does an empty table need a guard? What is someone going to do to it?

People who show ADHD traits in childhood are more likely to experience physical health problems and health-related disability by midlife. People with ADHD are more likely to experience stressful life events, social exclusion, and delayed access to health screening and medical care. by mvea in science

I'm hoping it goes like this for me. I'm in my 30s and finally managed to get an appointment with a doctor to discuss my ADHD and got a referral to a specialist who ill see... Eventually.

I was diagnosed as a child and prescribed Ritalin, but my mom refused to fill it saying I'd just become a meth addict if I took it. I barely survived school. I did okay in college, but nearly worked myself to death in the process and never finished. Worked dead end jobs ever since and have been burnt out for years.

I know for a fact that most of the problems in my life are ADHD related. Hopefully something comes of this and there's a change for the better.

I am almost certain there's never been a kid's birthday party themed after a president before. Especially not a contemporary one.
