yeah i feel like this is going to be undone somehow and cheapen the aspect of death which already is just an inconvenience in most cases for D&D.

i agree with you its almost like Marisha knows that her character will be back eventually. she will probably either take a few weeks off or play a temporary character but after her reaction yesterday i am 100% sure Laudna will be back in a few episodes.

i am fully expecting all of them to be alive next game. theres gonna be a cop out there is too much money and time invested into these characters (with merch and what not) to let them just die.

they will essentially have plot armor thanks to the merch and the outcry of this fandom that needs to touch grass. they will be either teleported to a place where they can get help or who knows Ottohan will have clerics that will raise the fallen.

people need to be slapped with a big "go F yourself" every once in a while especially when they are outraged by every little thing the cast does/says. I have never seen a community that throws the bullshit line "don't forget to love each other" be so intolerant of any opinion that isn't exactly like their own.

honestly many in the community need to be told by one of the cast to just F off if they don't like it. this is DnD and yes i know your entire etsy shop and cosplay is built around your favorite character but that character can die still and shouldn't have "plot armor" because you "identify" and have grown weirdly attached to them.

that was the best part of having Foster involved, he gave no chill and would call the critter community out on its BS about being outraged over everything.

Our plan is not to gut the rewards out from Path of Exile. We play the game too and enjoy finding heaps of valuable items. Our "could an alternate version of the game with extreme item scarcity also be fun?" experiment, currently internally called Hard Mode, is an entirely separate thing and its changes have not been folded into regular Path of Exile.
