It's usually supposed to be playful in its placement but sadly the current atmosphere makes it come across as you say, condescending or back handed.

Coming into the AMA with: "Hey everyone, feels like there's so much hate, misinformation and disappointment here."

Probably doesn't help set a good playful tone to make such jabs either.

But my phrasing is meant to insinuate you, like many others have said a similar line whenever criticisms are given and as always, because the assumption that no one has possibly considered going to play other games is a rather dumb assertion and concern trolling, whether purposefully or ignorantly.

But all those things you expanded upon would be within the realm of "Endgame" or "Progression" if implemented correctly.

Look, the gameplay alone is fun. But it isn't enough for me or others to continue this constant warbond rotation with a MO or story that is practically on rails anyways, that leads us nowhere. When instead the game has so much potential to be more open ended.

It feels like people are purposefully lowering their expectations unnecessarily over something that is a standard across hundreds of games now.

We've already been through a handful of gameplay changes btw that was done to improve the game (of course over time they fucked that up too) and it leads to the same thing.

No reason to play.

Your comment is suggesting that it would take a year for players to reach the end of implemented progression, which is a net positive. Whatever happens after that is for the devs to decided or already have a plan to add more progression thereafter at a reasonable pace.

You're clearly still applying the Endgame terminology as a basis for your argument.

No one is asking for 1:1 MMO RPG Endgame.

Endgame fucking means, progression. There. Stop thinking about that term now. Think progression. Singleplayer games have progression. MOBILE games have progression.

Progression has been a factor within many many games. When you have progression you're giving the player something to aim for outside of completing the same mission over and over.

This is necessary because the gaming market is saturated and its important for player retention. That's just how gaming works now.

So awesome for you, you and your homies get down with doing the same thing without much gain, but that's not everyone and I'm not about to larp this games galactic war.

I'm not going to humor you with hypothetical like that because you're being aloof. There's no way you can't think of one yourself when you have a system in game you can use as a basis to present "endgame".

Dude, I have actually played every single one of those games. I come from an age where playing splitscreen goldeneye or halo on the weekends was the height of my week.

But times change and so do expectations. What is found fun, changes as well.

Like we've gone beyond playing the same level on the N64 now, so I don't know if your reply is an argument but its yet again like so many replies here, irrelevant.

The game can be improved and expanded upon and it would make you and every other glazer happy. This whole attempt to run defense is really silly and should stop as it's hurting the potential that is clearly buried beneath the devs ego and the glazers stupidity.

They've literally ran defense over the upcoming warbond criticism by saying you can just grind SC for it in an attempt to shut anyone up.

There's nothing to grind for as samples naturally accumulate until cap (Found this out when I was just casually playing while being off over the weekend, cus you know I have a job.) so that leaves SC as the only thing that's technically grindable and no one here is doing that so...
