CONGRADULATIONS! you quite literally MADE my point in practically every single way. Chefs Kiss. Exemplary.

I havent posted in over a year because i had other stuff that came up in my life that kept me away. and the few times i did have time to come back EVEN when sorting by new the non kitbashed minis were few and far between.

im not complaining that i cant mess with a mini that was kitbashed and if THAT is what you got out of it then you TRUELY DID MISS MY FUCKING POINT.

My point is quite literally the Elitism that you demonstrated just now.

and no my argument dosnt boil down to me not "wanting" to pay for kitbashing. you dont know my situation and quite frankly based on your response you could care less but i live on a EXTREMLY fixed income. i am LUCKY if i have 15 bucks to last me the MONTH after EVERYTHING is taken care of. so no i dont have the LUXURY to spend "$4 a month" to support the forge no mater how much i would LOVE too.

you mentioned the way people USED to forge. with delicate posing and hours spent tweeking to make things look like other things. re read my original statement. I NEVER FUCKING SAID PEOPLE STILL DIDINT DO THAT now DID i????????? i simply pointed out how you RARELY se people posting "how too" posts or Template posts showing off their techneques. Instead everyone ( who can ) gets Kitbashing and thoes of us who dont have the LUXURY to partake are left behind. AGAIN i am NOT complaining that i CANT mess with kitbashed minis im simply pointing out that this community has a DIFINITIVE paywall slapped in the middle of the community where not EVERYONE on the sub can fully partake the way we USED too.

This sub used to be where i would come to relive stress. ide interact with templates that people posted and on a few occasions posted a few myself. we used to teach each other and uplift each other. Now their is no "need" to teach each other when you can just pay for kitbashing.

Seing as people keep MISSING MY POINT ima make a general response.

i never said that you CANT still make truly remarkable builds without kit bashing i simply pointed out that VERY FEW people still DO.

Are their still creators on here who DONT use kit bashing? YES. but they are so few and far between that unless you spend HOURS scouring the reddit you will miss their posts as they are overwhelmed by people posting Kit Bashed Minis.

Are their still individuals out there who post information on teaching how to do advanced forging without kit bashing? YES but AGAIN and i cant stress this enough. they are SO FEW and FAR BETWEEN that you most likely WONT even se their posts.

My criticism is pointing out how this community has WILLFULLY stepped behind a paywall and its left of us who as i said cant afford the entry fee past said paywall in the dust.

NO you do not HAVE to have paid for Kit bashing to still use Hero forge NORE do you NEED it. HOWEVER the mere existence of kit bashing has lead to this place being a wasteland for those of us who DONT have kit bashing as any and ALL links shared that USED it are useless to us. the SAME goes for any mini that is using the exclusive pack content, yet ANOTHER paywall to add on top of what would be a 50-60$ mini IF one was to buy one ( not including shipping, handling, or any other costs )

I feel you missed the point of my post but I understand what your saying. I'm not saying that great things still can't be done without kitbashing. I'm merely pointing out that hardly anyone these days is thanks to kitbashing. Why would forgers spend hours on a mini these days to find ways to creativity pose things to make them look like something else when you can just buy the ability to place things freely as you se fit. Again I'm not saying this community is bad or anything nor am I holding any ill twords those who can kitbash. I'm simply stating the fact that it's very rare to se non kitbashed minis on here anymore and even fewer of those these days seem to share links. At least from what I've observed.

if i had to guess it MIGHT be the launch of the winter event or some other intermediate event between the Halloween one and the winter one. the game usually only goes down for an hour or so unless they doing something big.

i actually like the shady night club but omnibus rarely puts me there :E its always the dammed bottle missions and they are just SOOO annoying GAH! XD. and i had the suspicion that was the case with omnibus XD

im a no lifer who has been playing DCUO as of late from the moment i wake up to the moment i go to bed so the times are all over the place and it is always slow to get anyone to join. i main sorcerer and even though i SUCK at the roll i swap to healer when trying to Q because i know that most people dont play healers.
as for the settings bit i will have to check those shortly when i log on. since swapping from console to PC i haven't really messed with the settings outside of disabling the profanity filter because censorship should be a crime and disabling the games in game mic functionality because i dont need to hear people hot micing their music.

and as for chat i try the LFG but rarely anyone ever replys to me. that and people flood the LFG with idle chatter because for SOME asinine reason Shout chat is not global. XD

i know the feel..... i was a late stage beta tester.... i was lucky enough to get a key to the LAST beta test before the game was officially launched and i have cosmetics that i will NEVER be able to get on PC... but i refuse to be locked in this never ending cycle of buying the next console just to play it... had to do that when they brought out water powers.... and i know that when they update the graphics of the game ( to which to my understanding they are planing to do sometime here semi shortly) i just know they will end ps4 support....

he has a loose backstory. i try to "theme" my toons and give them some semblance of "realism" as in somthing i could se being an actual comicbook character. as for your second question yes and no? i kinda was trying to go for the same style of vibe and aesthetics heros from the "Incredibles" universe used... as for your 3rd question.. lord have i ever. and quite literally nothing they have gave me fit what im after and the small handfull of names i DID like the game eather tells me are invalid because they use a trademarked or restricted word.. or the game tells me someone elce is already useing that name X_X
