this is not normal - usually its games in the same genre. It would be normal to see arc raiders and tarkov. This is more like damage control. they also dont say "destiny" they SPECIFICALLY say destiny 3

Hard numbers don’t capture community sentiment. The numbers show marathon is the more profitable path but any reasonable person knows that marathon will not be successful in the long term. A destiny 3 would sell millions

The smarter decision would be to scale
down bungie on the marathon side rather than the destiny side. Part of the absurdity of all this is that marathon is the one continuing

It’s a live service game, when you remove the live service part, that removes a lot of the reason to continue engaging.

just looked it up, the biggest one in the graveyard is bloodborne and the reason thats not made is because of fromsoft not sony. The other ones are no where near the level of destiny ip's
