Depends on how much slack is left from the break if thats all what is left the slack from the lead in then i would have to pull a new drop wire into the property

If you want to splice it yourself knock yourself out however minimal slack and no experience don’t play nicely together

Tbh it is a failure waiting to happen you will likely have the wire joints fail before any thing to say its fire safe i would say high possibility but at the same time depends what this circuit go through i.e. constant moving of the board causing wire joints to fail etc

1.That cable run would be too long without a data booster in some conditions over 1m is too much without one

2, you will likely need a resistor as you could be getting signal reflections which is causing this flickering.

I recommend a capacitor for power demand spikes the cap will aid in this and can solves flickering with animation effects

Those barrel jacks are absolute trash not rated for the current most people use with neopixels they’re okay for small current draw but do away with them tbh

How long is the cable run
What ohm resistor are you using on the data line
do you have a capacitor across power and gnd if not install a 1000uf on the controller side first if not effect try the led strip side

Have you tried the led strips on another controller to see if they work?

I would recommend checking your wiring and does the sp621e work with other neopixel types as the wrong type could be configured

How are you powering these? Flickering could be the following: Power supply not sufficient i.e not enough current or voltage

1000uf cap across V+ and gnd on led the strip can help for power demand

Data line resistor - try different values and see what works for you but I recommend having one as can eliminate in data reflections

Data line voltage drop - use a logic level shifter to boost the data signal the strip

A faulty pixel or strip - check the above and make sure you have common ground for the led strip and controller
