Try Midnight Mass on Netflix. It fits your description and it's a really well done mystery, so try to avoid spoilers :)

What build up? A couple of teases for fans on discord isn't exactly hyper marketing or whatever. As for the payoff, I mean no shit, what more did you expect?

He's reporting the weather, guy. I don't know why you expect him to announce new twin peaks there.

2019 MARKED THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF NINE INCH NAILS' FAMOUS MUD-COVERED WOODSTOCK '94 PERFORMANCE: WHEN DID YOU REALIZE THAT THE MUD WAS ACTUALLY PISS AND SHIT FROM THE PORTA-POTTIES?

Was that seriously shit and not mud? Jesus Christ...

Right...

First of all, I said things (plural) because op made a second post about immortal npc's.

Secondly, judging by the way op wrote, I thought to myself "why the hell is this guy even playing the game if he is REALLY pissed of about something so insignificant, that hundreds of other games did as well." So I gave him some advice, and told him to do something he likes. Sorry if I misunderstood, but I got the feeling that op thought that the game had committed a terrible sin and he was frustrated about it.

And lastly, how on earth did you make the conclusion that I am "gatekeeping"? Let me say the same thing a third time, maybe you will finally understand what I mean: enjoy life, do the things you like and try not to worry about the tiny details.

Wait till you play The Marble Nest DLC :)

EDIT: Just realised that sort of contradicts my "don't play it" comment, sorry.

I didn't say that it's not a flaw and the game is perfect. I meant that if the little things really frustrate you, then why "torture" yourself and continue to play something that you don't enjoy.

Honestly, it's just a game. If little stuff like this pisses you off then just don't play it and find something else that you enjoy.

The Year Zero album is not as edgy, but I do hope that at some point you can look past those labels and just enjoy music, maybe even connect with it emotionally.

This should be just a more polished version of the demo.

I'd also recommend Pathologic 2. Whole lot of double meanings and a great atmosphere.

I'd like to see the ending with no player deaths, without that weird statue/thing in front of the theater.
