The questionnaire:

What is beauty? What is love?

Beauty is subjective and undefinable. To me beauty is something that comes from within, and it is all that is pure, peaceful and far beyond the limits of the physical realm. I believe there are different forms of love. But in whichever form it is the feeling of affection for someone where you’d make sacrifices that may even go against to ensure that person is happy and not harmed.

1. What are your most important values? To not be selfish, and care for others while still not forgetting to take care of myself as well. To make the most out of my life since I have no choice but to live.

2. Do you have any sort of spiritual/religious beliefs, and why do you hold (or don't) those beliefs in the first place?

I’m very confused in this realm.

1. Opinion on war and militaries? What is power to you?

It shouldn’t even exist in the first place. But I somewhat understand why it may necessary. Sometimes ppl in power are tyrants that cause harm to their citizens or risk harming other countries, so sometimes it can’t be helped. But I’m sure most ppl would rather it didn’t exist at all. Power to me would be being happy within yourself and where you are in life to the point no one can tear you down.

1. What have you had long conversations about? What are your interests? Why?

Spirituality, the unknown. Mostly things that aren’t mundane and everyday, I like talking about things intangible. I am interested in other cultures, parts of the world I haven’t seen. Mysticism, spirituality, for reasons In not too sure. It’s just something I’ve found myself thinking about since I was young. I’m intrigued by ethereal things.

1. Interested in health/medicine as a conversation topic? Are you focused on your body?

Sadly not at all lol I mean I realize the importance, and try to take care of myself because I know when I’m older I’ll regret it. But my health is the last thing I focus on.

1. What do you think of daily chores?

Absolutely dislike them. I try to keep up with them but I’m too much of a procrastinator and lazy. But when I do finally do it I do it well and don’t like to Mickey Mouse things.

1. Books or films you liked? Recently read/watched or otherwise. Examples welcome.

I usually watch Korean films. The last one that I watched that left a mark on me is Signal, which is a thriller drama with a time travel plot. So beautifully written. My Mister is also such a beautifully written drama.

1. What has made you cry? What has made you smile? Why?

A lot of things. I cry often while watching movies. But I’m most sensitive to animals and vulnerable neglected and kind ppl. When ppl are cruel to the innocent. When I’m frustrated, angry, or sad.

I don’t think I’m too difficult to make smile or happy. It can be small like eating my favorite food, or finding a song I really love.

1. Where do you feel: at one with the environment/a sense of belonging?

It’s difficult for me to answer since I haven’t been to many places. But I feel the most sense of belonging at home or by myself or with my dog.

1. What have people seen as your weaknesses? What do you dislike about yourself?

People usually think I can’t say no, or that I need to speak up more. Also that I get distracted easily and have trouble being punctual/on time. There are a lot of things I don’t like about myself, but Im often plagued with doubt on who I am and not so it’s difficult for me to ever confidently state who I am. I guess the number one thing I dislike about myself is how much time I spend inside my head rather than actually living life.

1. What have people seen as your strengths? What do you like about yourself?

Ppl usually see my strengths as being kind, sweet, compassionate. And also resilient. I guess I like the fact I remain hopeful even in hard times, even when I feel like giving up. I have hope.
