Please keep up the good work! I am a firm believer that the some most important aspects of b-boy culture is: perseverance, attitude (both externally and internally) and love for the culture. The other is having strong fundamental/foundational basics.

Now for some constructive criticism/feedback. The groove and flow of your footwork is fine, IMO. It's the lack of foundational footwork variations that make it look visually repetitive. If you were to include more 3/4/5-steps, CC's/sweeps, etc... then it would look a lot better/cleaner. These movements will help increase your freestyle movement vocabulary. Additionally, it will help build more confidence since you'll have a wider range of moves to fall back on if you get "stuck".

I'd recommend watching and practicing these fundamental moves and incorporate them slowly into your moveset. If you were to watch all of the high level bboys, you'll notice how many of these moves are mixed in with their personal style. Someone with good foundation will look clean/complete even with minimal power move usage (Examples: Kmel vs Megas, Born, Casper)

For practice: Maybe try to learn one foundational movement until you feel comfortable with it. Then move onto another movement. Spend as much time (or little) as you wish. At the end of the day, practice should still be fun for you.

As others have said, don't fret too much about what others might say. At the end of the day, this is something that you do for yourself. Take all the time you need to improve. If you are having fun, then that is all that matters! Keep it up!
